Experience Guitar Lessons

My name is Danny Lehrman. My specialty is teaching beginner guitar players, any style or genre of music at any age. Absolute beginner guitar lessons allow me to start you off on the right track, less the bad habits. We get used to bad habits very easily, so why not get used to good habits first? It’s your choice, I can come to you in the comfort and privacy of your home, or you can come to my home studio and learn guitar here.

One on one, at-your-home guitar instruction is a great way to learn to play guitar. Available in the St. Lucie County area of Florida, I recommend having a lesson once a week or every other week depending on your budget, practice schedule and learning abilities. Every lesson is catered to every unique student.

Every lesson comes with a DVD of that lesson so you have a copy to refer back to at any time in case you forget something. Plus anything in writing will be included too. If you are not in my area I offer Skype lessons as well – my Skype name guitarplayerscenter. Almost as good as face to face.

Success and fun is the object. All of my students get the same personal undivided attention in every lesson. Although I may teach all of my students the same basics, I get to know each student first, then I decide how best each individual student shall be taught.

I spend as much time with each student going over our lesson or making sure we cover the finer points therefore making sure my students understand each lesson in full before they leave. Many people forget parts of the lesson by the time they get home. With a DVD of the lesson and any written info, tabs or music provided, my students are armed with a fun lesson. I am always a phone call or computer away.

I am organizing a monthly recital or jam session. Make sure to ask about it. An informal performance in front of familiar faces is very pleasant and lots of fun. It also builds confidence.

As for myself, I am currently taking music and teaching courses at the local college to get my teaching degree in music. This will make me a better teacher. A win win for all. My thirst for knowledge in learning, teaching and playing guitar is unquenchable. Passing it on to you in an understandable manner is my job.

My first guitar teacher was the same man who taught my dad and coached a man named Charlie Byrd. Charlie Byrd is a world famous Jazz guitarist. Then I moved to another excellent classical guitar teacher. Aaron Shearer was my first classical guitar teacher and became quite famous for writing several guitar teaching books, which I still use to teach.

I was transferred to George Yeatman several months later, from whom I took a 1 hour weekly lesson from for over 5 years. He had the unenviable job of turning me into a classical guitar player. I loved and soaked up every lesson I had. I also learned that practicing the guitar is fun.
